I'm Mayank Dang — importers know me as CA Sahab. Since 2004, my team and I have helped proud Indian MSME owners source from China and receive their goods door to door — with verified suppliers, clear costs and customs handled.
I am a Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICAI) who moved from solving clients' customs and tax problems to running their imports. In 2004 I moved to China, and living and working there — and speaking Mandarin with factory owners — I learned how Chinese factories really think, price and deliver.
That is how IFC – Imports From China was built: an India–China team that sources products, checks suppliers, inspects quality, pays suppliers in RMB or USD, ships by air or sea and clears customs, so our customers only have to sell.

2003
Chartered Accountant in practice
I began as a practising CA, solving customs, sales tax and income tax matters for 10–12 clients, a few of them importers. That is where I first saw how much Indian importers struggle with compliance.
2004
Moving to China
At my importer clients' request I moved to China to form their companies and handle their supplier contracts, and soon began sourcing and working directly with factories.
2005
Opening the door to every Indian business
I invited any Indian business to come to China and buy with us. Soon more than 50 new MSME clients were visiting every month, and my father, brother and cousins joined to run customs clearance in India. We became one of the first to offer China export agent and India import agent under one roof.
2011
The e-commerce wave
When Flipkart and Snapdeal arrived, I met Snapdeal's CEO Kunal Bahl in Shanghai. Snapdeal needed a partner to deliver Taobao and Tmall products to Indian buyers on cash on delivery. That was my entry into online business, growing from dropshipping to stocked inventory on every major marketplace, including Amazon.
2016
Peak of online retail
3,000+ orders a day, ₹10 lakh+ daily turnover, and a place among the top 30 Home & Kitchen brands on Amazon India.
2017
A hard lesson in compliance
A DRI investigation choked our supply chain and the online business came to a stop. I chose one boat and rowed it properly: the import services business my family had kept running.
2018–2024
Import services at its peak
IFC became the go-to import partner for brands such as Ferns N Petals, KUKA Home, Cameleon Cosmetics, FabFurnish, Jabong, Snapdeal and Telemart, leading architects and interior designers, and 5000+ online sellers.
2024–2025
The toughest chapter
A long legal battle with enforcement agencies tested everything I had built. It taught me, more than anything, why clean and fully compliant importing is the only way to build a business that lasts.
2025 onwards
Teaching the right way to import
I am building IFC into a brand and teaching young entrepreneurs to import the clean, compliant way, so they never face the problems with government departments that I did. I want to share what I learned from hard failures, and the mindset of 5000+ successful importers, with the next generation.
